Rules & Regulations

1. Check in time is 4:00pm Check out time 11:00am No early check-ins.
2. There is Smoking allowed outside must use cigarette dispenser on front porch or discard in trash can when done.
3. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and any damage done to house or property. All pets must be current with all vaccinations and be on some type of flea and tick medications.  Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area, can cause illness or injury that may occur to pets or humans while on property.
4. Must be 21 years of age to rent unless accompanied by an adult.  MUST be 18 years of age or older to drive the golf cart.
5. Damage Deposit- ($500.00 damage deposit) this covers the golf cart and other damage done to house or its contents on property. Understand that by renting and staying at Get away to Tennessee you are accepting responsibility for all damages and /or stolen items. All damages will be the responsibility of the reserving party and your credit card will be charged for any violations. We must have a credit card on hold.(whether it is the one you used for reservation or another card). No charges will be put on your credit card if all provisions below are met and no damages. The house, property, its contents and the golf cart will be checked and cleaned before and after each arrival.  If we should have any problems with damaged, lost or stolen items or property you will be notified before any charges occur. Our house is decorated with our personal belongings, we ask that you take care as you would if they were your own belongings.
   
   The following additional rules in lieu of but limited to:
   
   a.  ABSOLUTELY No Hunting of any kind allowed on property!!!
   b.  No damage is done to the house or its content, property and golf cart beyond wear and tear.
   c.  Charges that may occur due to contraband, pets or collection of rent and services rendered during the stay.
   d.  All garbage is placed in garbage containers, dished cleaned and put away and house is cleaned (Leave as was when you arrived).
   e.  All charges accrued during stay are paid prior to departure.
   f.   No linens are lost or damaged.
   g.  No early check-ins or late check-outs.(unless discussed prior)
6. Full Payment must be paid by Credit Cards, Travelers check, Bank money order, Cashiers check or cash. Credit cards will be ran on the day reservation is made. If paying by any of the checks listed above, we must have the payment within 10 days after the call was made for the reservation. Payments are refundable 30 days prior to arrival date. After that money is non-refundable. Credit card cancellations are subject to a $30.00 cancellation fee.
7. Maximum Occupancy is 18 people. $25.00 charge per extra person per night for amount over 18 people.
8. Rate changes are subject to change without notice.
9. Written exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
10. Storm policy/road conditions No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained but we do recommend four wheel drive or chains during snow time, we don’t refund due to road conditions.
11. The house is privately owned, the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on property or its facilities. Homeowners are not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By signing this agreement it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the property or others whom they invite to use the property.
12. Please don’t let children wander outside or inside unattended. There are bluffs and slippery areas and slopes on the property. Stairs inside and outside.  Adults should be aware of surroundings also.
13. Please when not in use, turn off air, heat and lights that you are not using to help keep our rates low. Allow fireplace to be extinguished and door closed when not around.
14. Lock all doors and secure gate when you leave to go anywhere.  Innkeepers will give you codes when you arrive (if needed).
15. Innkeepers and bed and breakfast services are available. JUST ASK. (will be an extra charge, innkeepers will let you know price).
16. At this time there is not a phone.  We recommend you bring a cell phone.
17. Unfortunately, appliances, air conditioners, TV, etc, occasionally malfunction. We can not guarantee them to work correctly 100% all the time. However we will correct the problem as soon as possible during the business hours.
18. Please be considerate and polite and let innkeepers know if you break or damage anything while your stay.  Accidents do happen and would like to know before you check out.

I understand that I am responsible for the condition in which the property that I have rented from Get away to Tennessee is left after check out. I agree the house will be left the way it was found upon check in, except for basic wear and tear.  I agree that I am responsible for damages beyond wear and tear on the golf cart while it is in my use during my stay.  If not I will be responsible for any damage to the property or the property contents. I will not hold the owners of Get away to Tennessee responsible for any theft of money, jewelry,  personal property of any kind. I also understand that excessive cleaning beyond necessary will be charged a minimum of $45.00 fee.
